A Look Back at 2019!

2019 was the founding year for The Franklin Foundation. As an organization, we were able to receive our 501 c(3) non-profit status! Making us a tax-exempt organization and creating tax-deductible options for our donors. Throughout the year, we were also able to begin the first steps of our community outreach agenda.

Here's a look at what we accomplished this year:

This summer we had the opportunity to begin our classes on mental health and diversity at the La Alma Recreation Center through their Jaguar Summer Club. Our classes empower young people to be confident about their identity while celebrating others.

We are so thankful for the La Alma Recreation Center and Metropolitan State University of Denver's Journey Through Our Heritage club for allowing us to be apart of their summer program. Through their programs, we were also able to chaperone students on a trip to Denver's Botanical Gardens.

Throughout the school year, we were able to survey teens in the Denver area about the needs and wants of their community. They have helped us to create our goals and targets for 2020! We cannot wait to share them with you!

Thank you again for all your support!
